Cell phone purchase system being trialled

Something that allows purchases to become taken care of using the tap of the cell phone has been trialled by MasterCard Worldwide and ANZ.

Underneath the trial, some ANZ staff could be released with whether contactless sticker or perhaps a memory enabled with MasterCard's contactless technology PayPass.

The PayPass sticker might be mounted on any phone type, as the memory could be placed into Rim products, ANZ and MasterCard stated inside a statement today.

Participants within the trial would then have the ability to buy things as high as $80 simply by tapping their device before a MasterCard PayPass terminal.

Westpac Stadium and Eden Park were the very first retail locations introducing the technology within this country, with
retailers for example Hell Pizza, St Pierre's Sushi and Corporate Cabs to become incorporated from This summer.

MasterCard New Zealand country manager Albert Naffah stated the way forward for obligations was undeniably from the cell phone, using the technology already successful overseas.
