Japan Fukushima handle radioactive water

Japan Fukushima handle radioactive water, Fukushima nuclear power plant operators, Tepco began pumping radioactive substance-free water as part of the system to cool the damaged reactor.

The Japanese government hailed this action as a''major step forward''to control nuclear facilities damaged by the earthquake and the tsunami last March 11.

The tsunami destroyed all nuclear power plants including power back up, and destroy the cooling system.

Three reactor melted and caused radiation leaks.

The incident is the worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl tragedy in Ukraine in 1986.

Tepco said that about 1850 tons of water exposed to radioactive been recycled.

And the company also said it would continue to flush the 16 tons of water every hour to the reactor 1.2 and 3, and 13 tons of water that is free of substances such as radioactive.

"This is important in two aspects,''said Goshi Hosono, an adviser to Prime Minister Naoto Kan.

"First, the system will solve the problem of contaminated water, which causes concern to the world. Secondly, it will cool the reactor and make it stable.''

Tepco reported to have also started running out of places to accommodate the amount of contaminated water, which is also called the technician as a critical effort in the handling of nuclear power plants.

A number of wastewater contaminated with radioactive scale has been released into the sea.
