Aung San Suu Kyi Say Thank You to Indonesia

JAKARTA - Aung San Suu Kyi, expressed his gratitude to Indonesia, which has encouraged the democratic process in Myanmar. It is spoken in conjunction with the anniversary of Suu Kyi's 66th.

As a form of support for Suu Kyi's struggle, AIPMC (ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Myanmar Caucus) made ​​a simple celebration for Nobel peace laureates. Vice AIPMC from 3 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand to communicate directly with Suu Kyi via internet connection.

President AIPMC, Eva Kusuma Sundari, said it has always supported efforts to achieve democratization in the country that has ruled the military since 1988.

"We in Indonesia will continue to make urgent efforts to accelerate democratization in Myanmar," he said.

Meanwhile, Suu Kyi hopes the countries in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia, which in the past was known as a teacher for the government in Myanmar, can continue to put pressure on the government in his country.
