Afghan officials say 60 people were killed in a bomb attack at a hospital in Azra district of Logar province, eastern Afghanistan, Saturday (25 / 6).

An official of Logar province, Din Mohammad Darwaish, said the death toll likely to grow because there are still victims trapped under rubble.
"The target of this explosion is not yet clear but certainly a hospital was attacked and killed civilians," he said.

Authorities blamed the Taliban were behind the attack, but a Taliban spokesman denied this, saying the group does not aim at civilians as targets.
